Good thing there are detail insets.

Oh come on, that has to be a typo.
They can't seriously be asking ... oh wait.

Brilliant. Pay a ton of money, put it together and paint it over the
course of the year, put it on the table, watch it get destroyed
mercilessly over and over.

Have you noticed the pdf at the bottom of the picture?
It's the assembly instructions.
Looks like a LOT of drilling and pinning's gonna be required for that one.

The assembly instructions are evidently for children:
+++
1. Find the Body of the Mount, then glue the:
Head on front, Tail at back, Wings up top, Legs and Belly beneath.
2. Find the Body of the Rider, then glue on:
RH Sword, LH Axe, Banner on back, Head on top, Legs below.
3. Final Assembly:
Glue Mount to Base, then Rider to Mount.

Wow. I've been wanting to do a Dark Elf army, and if I do, I'm going
to have to get one of those to be a centerpiece model (even if I never
use it... that is one damn cool looking dragon).
Ultraforge might not be cheap, but their quality is very high, so
they're worth it.

Yeah, I sorta like the mount too.
I'd like it better without the armour, though.
The laundry man in the funny hat just doesn't make it.

I hear people do it all the time at a certain class of brothel.

I'd have guessed OZH-ogg, but what does a Yank know?
I once pronounced Chimera phonetically until corrected.
Evidently, it comes across in the UK as "coy mirror".
It's not Ca-TAK-an, it's Catta-CHAN.
It's not Mac-RAGgeh, it's Muck-RAG.
Not Lazz-gun, but Laze-gun.

i doubt it, given GW's general record with phonetics-- remember way back
when Matt Sprange collated a list of all the wacky-spelled words from GW
literature, and how they were INTENDED to be pronounced according to the
authors? pretty harrowing stuff...
based on that, i'm fairly sure it's meant to be pronounced as "z'h", like
the "cz" in "czar" (hence the azz-hag) in this case, rather than "zh-"
(which is like the "z" in "seizure").

Yes... but Matt was a freelancer and given his current occupation I'm
sure most people at GW would be all like "Matt who?"

You are talking about the same group of people who often can't remember
the rules or the fluff/back-story for their own product lines. Judging
by the number of illegal army lists in White Dwarf, I'd suspect that
some of them have never really read the rules nor the background in
fact. It isn't a surprise that they can't remember former co-
workers...
