I'm looking for some empty cabinets to put a few of my JAMMA boardsets
in. Doesn't have to have a monitor, would prefer wiring.

I am in Richmond, VA 23233.

Thanks,

Hugh

Hey Hugh, I don't have any cabs, but was wondering if you know of anyone who
does monitor work in Richmond? I have a DK Jr machine which needs a cap kit
and some other tlc.
Sorry for busting into your post, but I appreciate any tips you have for me.

I don't know of anyone specifically but if you can discharge the
monitor and remove the chassis here is where I would sent the board:

http://www.arcadecup.com

If you are in the Richmond area I could help you discharge and remove
the chassis, I wouldn't charge to help you out. I have a high voltage
probe I use to discharge my monitors before installing a cap kit.
Email me if you need more help.

Hugh

Hugh, Home Amusement on the blvd probably has some empty cabinets.
You can even find some in the alley behind them on occasion. I
occasionally have some to dispose of but none at the moment.
Hello again drummindog. There are a couple of guys in Richmond that
are good on the older machines. Ronnie at Home Amusement and The
Pinball Doctor (Chuck English). I use good ol' fashioned flathead
screwdriver and an alligator clip lead to discharge tubes. If you
haven't done it before, definitely have someone show you. There is
nothing to it but it is dangerous due to the amount of voltage under
that cap.
