I don't think it has an official launch date yet. I might get it right
away but then there could be other games to play or something at the
time. I wasn't too happy with GTA4 anyways, so I think I'll check
Metacritic scores and such to see if I should wait for a sale...

Started a new game of San Andreas this week, from the save files it
looks like I haven't played since 2009. It still rocks.

I'm guessing either Oct/Nov 2012 or (less likely) May 2013.

Like I said, I'm a sucker for GTA so I'll probably buy it launch day. I
won't reserve it, though. GTA3 was the only game in the series I had
problems finding, mostly because I think its popularity took Rockstar by
surprise and they hadn't put enough copies out to meet demand. That's
unlikely to happen again.

Sure does! I still pop it into my 360 or mess around with it on my laptop
from time to time, even after seven years.
