I play GTASA on PC and was wondering how to install game saves I find
off the internet. I know I may sound weird, but I can only get about 8%
of the game finished and it is impossible for me to get further than
where I am at. Any help/ideas?

Your savefiles are in a directory under "My documents"
Save an arbitrary position in the game to an unused slot, and note the
slot's number.
Rename your downloaded file so it matches the corresponding filename in the
savegames directory, then move it there. Overwrite the arbitrary save game.
It's possible you can just name the file appropriately and put it in the
directory, and it will be picked up automatically. My method just makes sure
the file already has an index (if GTA uses such a thing) and if you don't
get the "do you want to overwrite" message you know something has gone
wrong.

Also, there are different versions of SA out there and not all saves will
work with all versions. Make sure to try saves from several sources, in
case the first one doesn't work. GameFAQs is (or at least used to be) a
good source for saves and they tell you which version the saves are for.
I finished SA, but only on the Xbox. I couldn't get the gamepad
configured correctly to be able to play the missions on PC but got it
working well enough to screw around so I did what you're talking about,
found a 100% save somewhere and just run around raising hell on the PC
version. Been doing that since early 2005 and still have fun doing it
from time to time...

It didn't seem to work for me. Either I'm doing it wrong or I'm just a
moron. Either way I guess I'll just have to settle on running around
wreaking havoc on San Andreas.

I reckon it's time for me to have another blast around San Andreas - went in
last night and the saved files were empty and all my MP3s gone. I think I
must have done a bad restore somewhere along the line. Anyway - I'm going to
do what I did with VC and put together a save with all the boring stuff
done - USJs, rampages, horseshoes, oysters etc.
I know there's one USJ that can't be done until Las Venturas is unlocked -
similar to the jump in VC I had to leave a few weeks ago.
Incidentally - last night I went to grab a sea sparrow, as per my old video
at LgfcTbdxc_0 on YouTube. Flew the shamal too low and ended up in the water
at the northeast corner of the map. SWAM all the way to the sea sparrow,
then got blown up halfway back to los santos. FML

I'd like to find a SA save that's just the opposite: The storyline is
finished, so the whole map is unlocked, but the collectables haven't been
collected yet. Call me weird, but I could happily spend time doing that...

Well, are there really no savegames like that? Seems to a lot of 100%
saves, but for example "Glenster's Go On, San Andreas, v.1 Mission
Select Save Games" at
http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/c39-gta-san-andreas-saved-games
seems like it might be what you're looking for.
I thought SA went a little overboard with all the collecting stuff. I
remember missing one gang tag and redoing a whole bunch of them until
I found the one...
Of course, later on there was that great tool which showed which
collectibles you had done and where.
Top 13 Video Game Urban Legends - Interesting article, that is very great! I think you guys will enjoy this article. Give me some incite. http://www.ugo.com/games/video-game-urban-legends/?cur=nes-cart
TEXP70? - Other than reinstalling Direct X (done that 3 times) or updating the video drivers (also done multiple times) does anyone have a valid answer on what can be done to a previously WORKING install of IV that now only gives the dumb a** "TEXP70"...
