Looking for a small group (about 10 players) to play regular games
about once a week online. If you are interested please email me and
let me know when you might be available. More than likely the games
will be in the regular classic format until we have a larger group.

This is to all appearances an email address harvester. I'm writing with
a disposable email address to make sure. Please feel free to correct me
if you are familiar with a "regular classic format", but it would be
prudent not to send mail to that address from any email account that you
expect to use.

How does this look like an email harvester? If I was going to harvest
emails I sure would not use Diplomacy as bait. Dontcha think? The
number of responses I'd get would hardly be worth my time. I have no
idea why my post makes you believe such a thing, but all you would
have to do is punch my address into Google to see that I am a living
being only interested in playing Diplomacy. It amazes me the ideas
that people get in their heads.
Btw, in the online game they ask you to designate what game you want
to create or else find. "Regular" refers to the game type as opposed
to "anonymous" or "gunboat". "Classic" refers to the variant as
opposed to "winter 1900" or "chaos".
I hope to see you guys at playdiplomacy.com or as I suggested, to
write to me to get a regular playing group together. Thanks again.

I'm glad you're a person. The post was hopelessly vague, however, and
could have been sent to dozens of game forums.
When I say, "correct me if I'm wrong," it's genuine... not an
invitation to be an asshat.

It looked like an email harvester to me. It did not mention Diplomacy.
I assumed it had been posted to every newsgroup with "games" in the
name.
