Thanks for the review, Jimmy, and for the nice compliments.
FWIW, I pretty much agree with your reservations about "A Flustered
Duck." I was aiming low to start with. I wrote it mainly as a way to
learn Inform 7. I had a little fun along the way, and I hope other
people will too. Of literary ambitions the project had none.
Only one minor point mars the review: Mabel is clearly a female duck,
not "he."

Great editorial. Makes me want to play The King of Shreds and Patches.
Lots of other stuff to read too, so it'll last a few days. Good job!

Woops! As the kids say today, my bad.
By the way, what happened to your blog? I used to pop over to read what
you were up to from time to time, and now it seems to have disappeared
without a trace.

Oh, you were getting there from the link on the MusicWords home page,
weren't you? That link was temporarily suspended, but it will be back
before long. The blog is precisely where it was before --
midiguru.wordpress.com.

SPAG Website Down - Several people have already emailed me to tell me that the SPAG website is inaccessible. SPAG has been living on an otherwise largely abandoned server for many years now. It appears, though, that our gracious host did not renew the domain name. I'm goin...
IF on the go? - What's the best device for playing IF on the go? I was looking at Sony's new PSP (announced at E3), which is lighter and smaller than the old PSP, still has a wonderful screen, eliminates the UMD slot and has a slide-out keypad for playing games (its...
Textfyre Launch - Dear IF Ccommunity, Textfyre is launching it's first game, Jack Toresal and The Secret Letter on June 26th, 2009. We have a handful of things to tie up before publishing the final product, but the community has helped in so many ways that we want to..
Anchorhead SE: Dead in the Water? - What's happened to Anchorhead SE? I know that Mike abandoned it "temporarily" (so I understood) to write for Textfyre but now his SE page is gone as well. Anyone know more about this?
