Thanks - great news indeed! Smile At last, I'll be able to replay
Pandora Directive after selling it years ago to someone on this
very newsgroup.

Heh, I bet they'll have trouble tweaking Overseer. That game
had all kinds of issues, including a few show-stopping bugs.
I wonder if they'll use the DVD quality video? Maybe they'll
even convert it to MPEG4 or something. That would be awesome.

Of the three available games, Mean Streets, Martian Memorandum and
Under a Killing Moon, which would be the best one to buy if only one
could be chosen?
Thanks.

Yep, no question. UAKM (1994) was the first to use full motion video,
and fully voiced with 3D environments. Arguably the second best game
of the series behind Pandora (which uses the same engine)

Mean Streets (1989) was combined flight-sim/action/adventure. Martian
Memorandum (1991) was pure point-and-click adventure (similar to early
Sierra titles) and probably worth playing although I could never get
past the old graphics. Smile

Ditto Smile I sold all my three TM:s games in a bundle, and been
mad with myself ever since Smile

Hmm, strange, I don't remember having any problems whatsoever.
However, I played only the DVD version, never even touched the
6 CD:s.

Cheers !

Come to think about it, has anyone here bought anything from
GOG ? Or has anyone any comments about their reliability ?
Can they be trusted with my credit card number ?

I've bought two or three games from them and will again in the future,
UAKM for sure. Not sure what you mean by 'reliability' and they don't
store any card information on their site so I've had no problem
'trusting' them... and at worst case you can use PayPal. Biggest thing
for me is that the games are DRM free and are Vista / XP compatible.
