Well I'm jazzed, if noone else is. A major title with scifi, nazis, AND
zombies is to cheer for!

RTCW was the game where I managed to have my best online gaming session! I
shall wait a while before purchasing, dependant on reviews.

The release date has been delayed for two weeks to "facilitate a
global release window" of 17th August.

I remember the year when Return To Castle Wolfenstein was released,
this group was buzzing about it in the weeks leading up to the release
and for several weeks after.

I don't know if the lack of enthusiasm for this latest installment in
the franchise is indicative of the seemingly subdued state of PC
gaming today, or whether it's indicative of the smaller population of
this group.

Can't speak for anyone else, but when I see a game is multi-platform,
which accounts for nearly everything now, I can't help but be
skeptical. Particularly when it's PS3, 360 and PC. Sorry to be the one
harping on this all the time, but each console has its limitations and
strenghths. If its designed to run on both consoles, I feel its a
lowest common denominator design.

I suppose there are exceptions to this, like Fallout 3, but they are
definitely the exception.

That's exactly the reason I am waiting for reviews of the PC version.

I certainly agree with Carl. Your advice is really very helpful for us.
